Fixing and Cleaning

This morning, we were up early on a beautiful sunny morning.  I've got to take care of a few things before moving on.

Everyone, except me and Yuma headed for Mexico, so I had the place to myself today.  First, Yuma and I had a leisurely breakfast and so did my friend.

Then I pulled everything out of the fridge to open the back.  I wanted to see if the fridge was frosted again, but it was clean as a whistle.  No frost!

I took this opportunity to clean the inside of the fridge.  It was dirty and I've been meaning to clean it since I picked it up in Phoenix, but just never got around to it.

Such a beautiful afternoon, Yuma and I laid around and enjoyed the sunshine for awhile and then it was time to take on the broken window.  That is another job that's long overdue.  There are so many cracks around the warped plywood, the wind could just blow inside.

I cut the thick plastic and placed in where the plywood was and now I can see out both sides of the window once again. 😃

My missions for the day have been accomplished.  Wasn't long after, the kids came back from Mexico and we had our Happy Hour.

Yuma is happy out of the wind.

This evening, Dolly sent me a text saying she was at a high school talent show with Evan, Kristi, and Lane.  Erin, is one of the presenters for the show.  My little granddaughter is all grown up.

Kristi, Lane, Dolly and Evan
Time to get this post published and get dinner going.  Yuma and I are hungry.

Thanks for stopping by.

  2. It's good to hear you finally got your plywood window replaced. It looks good. Hopefully, it doesn't pop out on your next trip on the road. Your little hummer friend is going to miss you when you leave. The talent show was very entertaining. Erin was beautiful and a wonderful presenter. Our little girl is a young woman now.

  3. I agree with Dolly, your Miss Erin is a pretty young woman. Also like Dolly I hope that window doesn’t blow out while hurtling down the road at highway speeds. I think you should bring up the rear. Lol. Yuma seems to be curling up with Tom a lot these cool evenings!

  4. Good to get those things done before moving out. Your window looks great. I'm sure it looks better than plywood. Hard to believe that Erin Puff is such a grown up now!! Good luck with your move.
