Another work day and a homemade dinner

This morning was just perfect.  Brain games from 7:30 to 8:30 and then up for coffee.  Both of us laid outside most of the morning.

Going to be wrinkled when I'm old!

Yuma is smart enough to lay in the shade!

In the afternoon, Dean, Lisa and I, with Kay supervising, we started back clearing out the shed again.  It was after 5 o'clock before we quit for the day.  I must say I was tired, but didn't hurt anywhere, so I think I will live.

Kay invited me over for some homecooked pulled pork and potato salad.  It was so delicious I went back for seconds.  To finish me off, Kay had homemade brownies for dessert.    I think I'll sleep well tonight.

They never called on my Jeep today, so I guess they are still working on it or waiting for parts.  Not in a hurry, since I don't need it right now.

I'm going to bed now.  Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Yuma is one smart dog to be laying in the shade. Sounds like you are keeping busy.

  2. You won't be the only wrinkly old person! The sun is a draw for me too and yet I've had less this winter than ever. I'll make up for it this summer.
Nice day and you deserved that great meal.

    1. That's not a good retirement slogan, but it is right, Deb.
