This morning we woke up around 8 o'clock and the sun was shining. Supposed to get to 70 today. Quite warm.Had my normal boiled egg breakfast with half a grapefruit and my normal ten Ritz Crackers with peanut butter and cheddar cheese on each. Also had my three cups of coffee. Wanted to show Patsy Chillin' with Patsy what the first Keurig Coffee Maker looks like.
This one still works perfectly and produces great coffee. An old tin percolator coffee pot.
Around 11 o'clock Yuma and I jumped in the Jeep and headed west to see how close we could get to those rock formations I can see from camp and have photographed numerous times.
After passing the cemetery, we kept going and then took a small Jeep road that looked like it was heading in the right direction.
John had mentioned in the comments a few days ago about what Organ Pipe Cactus looked like and I was able to find a few today.
Yuma was ready to head home for the day. Couldn't get him to jump for the camera today.
Tonight is Gold Rush and White Water Gold, so I need to set up the Dish and be ready by six.
See you later.
Looks like another nice day there. Love the "Kuerig"! Good thing you and Yuma made it back in time for Gold Rush. 😀
ReplyDeleteIt was close 😀but we made it. It was a nice easy day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful landscape photos Doug. The desert sure seems to be extra green this year.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dave. Had quite a bit of rain till this week.
DeleteSure am enjoying the nice clear photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you Al. You're familiar with this area I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteI have had the same Kuerig for over 50 years just gave it to a friend this summer and bought a new stainless steel one, they still make the best coffee.
ReplyDeleteI agree George. One of these days when it quits working I'll upgrade to a new stainless steel one.😀
DeleteThe photo of Yuma & the Jeep includes a whole variety of cactus. Love the blue skies, mountains, and wispy clouds - perfect weather. 😎
ReplyDeleteYes it is. And another one today.
DeleteLove the Keurig! We actually bought one like yours when we first thought of boondocking but it just didn't do it for us so will stick to our new fangled one. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures and enjoyed the organ pipe cactus ones.
Looks like a big pot hole in that road that Yuma is looking at.
Thank you. It is a little hard to get three cups out of it. There were a number of big pot holes and washes on that road.
DeleteLOL . Sometimes Yuma just wants to contemplate Life - instead of jumping all around like a Crazy-Ike. 🎃
ReplyDeleteTrue Moonfly. He does enjoy his walks but he is always glad to go home.
DeleteHahah ..that's what our Keurig looks like too! Love all the pics and the green desert..just too pretty!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know so many used this coffee pot. Come in handy when boondocking.
ReplyDeleteLove the coffee pot. My dad has one too, he loves it.
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos today. Thanks for sharing.
Yuma's getting older, not as exuberant as in his younger days. He's more dignified now. Haha.
Thank you. Don't think he getting dignified, he's just stubborn. Hope you and Riley have a great day. It's going to be a warm one.
