Slept well last night. Woke up at 5:30 and laid in bed doing brain games till the house warmed up. Today is laundry day. Last time I did laundry was three months ago in Yuma. December 28th to be exact.
After breakfast, I put all the laundry in a pile to carry out to the Jeep.
At 11:30 we were off to find a laundromat in Apache Junction. I really like this area. It is in the shade of the Superstition Mountains and they are beautiful. Especially now with the snow on them. Won't be long before the snow is gone. Expecting warm weather starting tomorrow. Thankgoodness!

A little different at home. Dolly said it had started snowing and they will get several inches of cold sloppy snow with a lot of wind.Returned home at 1:30 and slowly folded all the clothes and put them away. For the rest of the afternoon, Yuma and I did a little snoozing on the freshly made bed.
Watching Gold Rush now. It is the season ending episode. Tomorrow morning, I will call and make sure both towing claims are reported and then anxiously wait to find out the secret reimbursement amount. Anything is better than nothing. Shouldn't take more than two weeks to determine what they will cover and what I will cover. Keeping my fingers crossed.
|Keeping just in case.|
It was pretty chilly there last night. It was nice to have some enjoyable music while you were doing laundry. Plus the view was gorgeous. Looking forward to mountain pictures tomorrow.ReplyDelete
Thanks Dolly. I'm ready to explore a little.Delete
Certainly a nice place to relax if you have to be there. But 5 washers? That's a lot of laundry :)ReplyDelete
The ad from 'The Recycler' is appropriate, but sure hope you don't need to call them.
Yes it was. Spent $40 for laundry yesterday.Delete
Don't do it. Check your options.ReplyDelete
You are right, Lorne. I'm going to keep trying to get it fixed.Delete
Laundry?..I've always packed too much even in Boy Scouts...Nothing has changed. I usually make one pair of shorts last 2 weeks. Socks and undies, it always depends....Will I ever change? Not likely after all these 74 years...ReplyDelete
Soaking in hot springs sure helps!
Hope you and your dog and feline make it home, safely.
Take Care, David
It will be something if the WL makes it home someday.Delete
Ooops, sorry, I just read this post, not the previous....ReplyDelete
My rig after 16 yrs. 1988 Winnie has a 12 volt issue. No one-zero will work on motorhomes here. They will be so happy to sell you one, but not work on it.
At least "Lucy" made it home. I have one place that may come through, we will see.....Wish you and Yuma the best!
Glad Lucy made it home. You may have to do the electrical troubleshooting. Start with Google to find help videos.Delete
You're parked in the perfect spot for some exploring and now don't have to worry about the WL starting!!! Enjoy the views!!ReplyDelete
Thanks Nancy. Time to do a little exploring.Delete
Pretty views, productive day and warmer weather in the offing, it was a good day.ReplyDelete
Have fun today in you exploring. Yes, that's a lot of laundry but now you're good until you get home.ReplyDelete
The mountains are gorgeous! That's a long time without doing laundry LOL. Never happen in this house. Even if the WL is toast I still think you could sell it to someone who would put the $ into it to get it going. Some retired mechanic, with time on his hands.ReplyDelete
At first, I thought the laundry was some old man with mirrored sun glasses, wrapped in old blankets and sheets, trying to keep warm, out in front of the laundromat. PhilReplyDelete
