I hate it when the weather app is right!😖 It rained hard most of the night and until about 11 o'clock this morning. Dark clouds everywhere. Then the clouds dissipated some and the sun peaked out just enough to keep my batteries going. At noon, the wind out of the west started and for the rest of the day, it howled around 25 mph. In other words a very cool, cloudy and damp day.
|No lounging outside today!|
Yuma and I stayed inside all day except for a few necessity walks for Yuma. He was quick because he hates this weather as much as I do.
Managed to get through the worst weather day I can ever remember in Arizona. Hopefully, the weather gets better in the next few days. I know this system is heading east so hope everyone is prepared for a rain/snow maker.
See you later.
Not a nice day there or here. The only difference is the temperature. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a much better day and you and Yuma can get out some.ReplyDelete
Thanks Dolly. Today is sunny and that makes for a better day. You and Fergie stay warm.Delete
Hey Doug, I have 5' of snow here, want me to "E" you & Yuma some?...My pal B.K. (Barn Kat) is happy to sit inside next to the indoor campfire..ReplyDelete
No thanks. I guess I should be thankful we don't have snow to contend with. Thanks for reminding me how good I do have it. 😀Delete
Snow here Doug. Yup it's snowing at my place. Aren't you glad you aren't here? It will get better. I don't see but one day of wet in the next two weeks. Yuma looks very happy!!!ReplyDelete
That's terrible Nancy. You're right about the weather. Better days are ahead. I think Yuma hates the cold more than I do. 😀Delete
That sure doesn't sound nice for Arizona. I guess we picked (as if we had a choice!) a good year to stay home. At least here in Ontario we expect to get cold and snow. A day or two indoors isn't a bad thing, it is inevitable even though we don't love it. :)ReplyDelete
Hang in there, warmer days afoot!
I think the thing I hate worse is clouds with no sun. But warm is good. It's on the way 😀Delete
Lots of wind and some much needed rain! Glad your batteries are holding up under the cloud cover.ReplyDelete
Thanks Jeff. You're right. The rain is needed. Glad I'm not in a muddy place. Have lots of gravel underfoot. Been using generator to assist batteries.ReplyDelete
Yesterday's weather report for CALGARY, Alberta, started off with shots of snow in the streets of PHOENIX! Phoenix had more snow than Calgary that day! But with temps of -20C (-4F) here this morning, you still win the weather competition.ReplyDelete
It is much better here than in Canada. I sometimes forget about all my Canadian friends stranded this winter.Delete
Everything is White here but we've had worse.ReplyDelete
I remember some Windy desert days that we had to chase after our water barrel that still had water in it.
Be Safe and Enjoy your day of rest.
It's about time.
Not that windy, but a cold damp wind that made going outside a challenge.Delete
Days stuck in an RV due to bad weather are never the best RVing days,ReplyDelete
You are right Al. I'm glad it didn't last long.Delete
