Rest on a Rainy Day

This morning, the only thing on my mind was when would the tech be coming out to the White Lion.  We were up around 7:30 with a nice warm sunny morning.  Had our breakfast and I had plans to go get a hair trim, but I got cold feet and decided to wait till all the WL drama is over.  Plus, I really don't need one yet!

I didn’t mention, yesterday I went into the Verizon store because the crack on my screen was getting larger and I didn’t want to lose all my data.  Someone was at the door to help and after about two hours I had a Samsung S22 cell phone to replace my S20.  Based on my fiasco with the batteries, I decided to let him transfer all my data from the old phone to the new phone.  All went great.

Around 10:30, I called Sam at CAT to see if I could find out their plans for coming out to the WL.  He checked and scheduled me for Monday.  I said that was fine.  Now I’ve got some beautiful days ahead to be out and about enjoying the Phoenix area.

Yuma doesn’t like rain, so we stayed in and relaxed the whole day.  Around 5:30, Kay called and wanted to know if I wanted to join them to go grocery shopping.  I jumped in the car with the family, and off we went.  I only grabbed four cans of stew, a case of sugar free coke and a half gallon of Almond silk milk, all for $30.

Soon after arriving back to the WL, I ate dinner and then watched “Survivor”, my second favorite TV program.  Watched on my cell phone because I don’t want the hassle of putting up antennas till I know where I stand.

It was nice to have a stress free day to relax.  Thanks for stopping by.

  3. Isn't there a way you could feed your TV program from your cell phone to your TV or laptop screen? I'm pretty sure you could do it with Roku or Chromcast. I think it would require an HDMI input on the TV, and maybe a USB output to power the Roku or Chromcast. Maybe you'll find an expert to help you.

    1. You're right phxxer. I was just too tired to mess with setups and took the easy route. I left my HDMI cable at home. For tomorrow's Gold Rush I'll figure a way.
