It was very windy and cold last night for this area of the country. Low around freezing last night and only mid 50s today with a cold breeze right out of the north. Weather report tonight from Phoenix says we are 15 degrees below normal.
When I stepped outside this morning, there was Deb on the the roof of her 5th wheel cleaning solar panels. While putting up the flag, I took a peek at mine and soon, I was on my roof cleaning solar panels.
Dolly sent me a picture of the flowers she received for Valentine Day.
I tried sitting outside for part of the morning, but Yuma said it was too cold and we remained inside till 3:30 when we joined the group at Tom and Deb's place that faces to the south out of the wind. But, as soon as the sun got low in the west, we were in our homes getting dinner prepared.
As usual, I forgot to thaw anything for dinner, so I pulled a frozen meat patty and put it in a pan of warm water and then threw it on the grill. Had a cheeseburger and chips for dinner.
Thanks for stopping by.
Those are very pretty flowers you sent to Dolly! I truly hope the wind is not with us again tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteAfraid the wind is here for one more day. Thanks for explaining to me how women think.
DeleteThank you for the lovely flowers. Hopefully, warm weather will return soon!
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome. Glad you were surprised and you like them.
DeleteNice flowers! It's going to be even colder THIS morning. Keep your big coat on!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nancy. We just need to wait another day and it'll be warm again. You've got your knitting to keep you warm.
DeletePretty flowers you got for Mom! Hope the weather warms up for you real quick!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Steve. Feels like home outside. Too cold out there.
DeleteVery pretty bouquet for Dolly. Yes we need a major warm up or I think we should demand a refund, I think somehow the wind and warm boxes were checked wrongly in someone’s list of things wanted or needed.
ReplyDeleteDeb
I knew you'd get her flowers! Hope it warms up soon for you guys. We had 10 feels like -3 in Tonopah this am. Nice to be home but it's cold here!
