Friends leave and winds return

Yuma and I were out the door at 8:30 and all our neighbors were already out and about.  Ken and Shirley are on their way to meet other friends on the north side of Yuma later in the morning.

During the night, the winds picked back up and by this morning, they were howling.  Bad enough that sand was blowing around making it uncomfortable to be outside.

It was around 10 that Ken and Shirley were off and on their short journey across town.

The rest of us tried sitting outside for coffee, but the wind was swirling around our motorhomes making it uncomfortable, so we were soon back inside.

A little later the gusts slowed and Yuma and I did some lying in the sun just outside our WL.  It was quite warm in the sun and nice to draw my breakfast out till 1 o'clock today.

Yuma biting his tail.

My Ritz crackers with peanut butter and cheese.

Yuma, Deb and I took a walk later in the afternoon, just to give Yuma some exercise.  I don't know why, because later, Yuma was chasing a Raven across the desert.  He never does catch one.

We had our Happy Hour at around 4 and soon back to our homes for the night when the wind became chilly.  Not an exciting day, but very relaxing.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. It's always good to have a nice relaxing day. It's too bad the sand was blowing everywhere. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a little more calm.

  2. Well at least you had a little time to bask in the sun. Hope that wind calms down for you by tomorrow.

  3. Glad you had Ken and Shirley out for a visit. Yuma is so modest! Haha 😄

  4. Sadly it looks like another windy day here as well. It sure makes you want to just cuddle up on the couch with your puppy dog.

  5. I wasn’t hungry enough to enjoy eating dust. Lol. It was a nice walk and I think I will get back to walking, maybe just not as far as before.
