Slept in this morning till 6:30. Nice to not feel the chill in the air when I wake up. Going to be a very nice day again with a high of 70.
Yesterday, Kay mentioned that I should degrease the engine bay to help make it easier for Dean to get around in there without all the dirt and grease. So, after breakfast, Yuma and I ran into Walmart and picked up five cans of degreaser.
I did sections at a time while enjoying the nice weather. Kay caught me on one of my rare breaks.Of course, she didn't catch me while I was deep into the engine bay choking on degreaser fumes.
After finishing, Yuma and I were ready for a bath. My hot water has been working great. I think I've figured out the buttons to push to get hot water on command.
Clean and ready to run
Yuma wanted to go for a walk before dinner. There is a beautiful grassy water retention area just around the corner, so that's where we headed.Really hungry tonight, so had a burger, potatoes, buttered bread and beans for dinner. Yummy!
Sweet and clean
Getting close to a full moon. I'll have to try and catch it coming over the Superstition Mountains tomorrow night.
Plastic fork and paper plate.
I'll finish up with a few more pictures from yesterday's hike.
I have ideas for tomorrow, but haven't decided what I should do. Going to be beautiful, so you can bet I'll be out there somewhere with my buddy, Yuma.

Thanks for stopping by.
You had a busy day and got some things accomplished. The balanced rock is very cool. I'm sure Yuma is happy to be cleaned up. It's great that you're finally getting nice weather.ReplyDelete
Yes, it is. Till now there were not many nice days in a row. I would like to climb up to the rock, but not sure if I can. Getting old is a bummer.Delete
Next time let me know when you will be working and I will snap a photo. It’s going to be nice all week!!!ReplyDelete
You'll have to be fast to catch me working, Kay.Delete
Great pictures. I really like the fourth one from the bottom beautiful of the Saguaros with the mountains in the distance. You are in a pretty area.ReplyDelete
Me too. The lush green with the snowy Four Peaks in the distance.Delete
That sounds like a dirty job, but better for Dean. Great pics. Yuma looks tuckered out.ReplyDelete
Glad it's done so I can get back to walking mountain trails.Delete
Funny how many pictures we take of our sleeping dogs. Don't you just love how sweet they are?? That was a good idea Kay had. Nice to be able to relax in the sun!!ReplyDelete
I hope yourw weather is better. Finally coffee hour outside again. At 9 not sunup. Yuma jumped right in the tub without even a prompt.Delete
Glad you are in such a beautiful place, and that it's warming up.ReplyDelete
Me too. Maybe I'll stick around a few weeks before heading east.Delete
