Stayed around the site

Slept well last night but Yuma was ready to start the day at 8 o'clock so off we went walking around the area.  I thought it would be cold but it was just beautiful this morning.  No wind is helpful.

Ajo pit mine tailings to the north.
Just didn't have the interest to go anywhere, so we just put out the patio and enjoyed the beautiful day.  The wind picked up late morning, but it felt good keeping us a little cooler as we laid in the sun.  Dolly sent me a picture of how her day looks. 😊

Started early getting my Dish ready for this evening's Gold Rush and I'm glad I did.  My 50 foot TV cable had been giving me troubles lately and today it would not work at all.  At 4 o'clock, hoping the Radio Shack would still be open, Yuma and I ran into Ajo and picked up a new 50 footer.  Did the job 😁

Before the sun set, Yuma and I took another walk and I took a few more pictures.

Six years ago, Dolly and Fergie were with me and Yuma and I took this picture of her being hugged by this beautiful older Saguaro.

Took a picture of it today.  Time waits for no one! 😰  Thanks for stopping by.

  1. I'm glad you finally had a nice day without big winds. That saguaro sure had a bunch of arms! Since saguaro are at leat 50 years old before they begin to get arms, this one must be quite old. It's too bad about the "hugging" saguaro. I guess it's time was up. Beautiful pictures of the area.

    1. No winds thank goodness. Just enough breeze to cool us down. I had forgotten how tall that saguaro was.

  4. My sisters were sharing their morning wintry pictures, they got dumped on at their locations too. Too bad. Teehee. So, only fair, I sent them my morning picture. 🤣
Love the pictures of the saguaros in two scenarios but how sad. Dolly should consider herself very lucky to be hugged by that beauty. ♥
