Location: Palm Canyon Road, Kofa National Wildlife Refuge, Arizona
This morning there was dew everywhere, but the Sun was shining bright. So glad to see it this morning. Was starting to get depressed with all the dark clouds and rain. The clouds are still floating around in the Kofa Mountains to the East.
Took my time with breakfast and around 11 o'clock I decided to venture the nine miles up hwy 95 to Palm Canyon Road and park at the entrance. Unhook the Jeep and search for a nice place to park for three nights. I was surprised to find the ground to be hard and there were many good sites available.
By noon, I was in my site and starting to check the area out.Yuma and I walked the area. Good to see Saguaros again. I missed them in Yuma.
I've parked about half a mile in from hwy 95 and about nine miles from Palm Canyon. The road gets rough further in and since I'm only here for three days, I decided not to travel very far up the road.

Not going up to Palm Canyon today. Save it for tomorrow. Don't want to overdue things. We did drive up towards the canyon and stopped to take pictures of a rock circular path someone made. Not sure what it's called. In the center are lots of trinkets placed there by those who walked the entire circular path to the center.

As the afternoon progressed, the clouds thickened and the temperature only got to 66 degrees. A little cool in the shade with the breeze.
I'm inside watching Gold Rush. Parker is heading to Australia to try his hand at gold mining. Next I will watch Dave Turin as he searches for profitable gold mines.
Good night from the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge.
See you later.
