Location: BLM near Winterhaven, California
Slept great last night and woke up with the Sun. Got up at 8 o'clock and fixed coffee and Yuma and I took our walk. Last time I stopped by this cactus there was only one bloom. Now look at it. That rain the other day did the trick.
Spent the morning putting my grill together and just enjoying the nice morning. Going to get to the low 80s this afternoon, so a little warm.
As I was reading blogs this afternoon, I saw that Deb of Celebrating the Dance mentioned they had gone South on Sidewinder Road to the All-American Canal and the Trump Wall for a little bit. So, around 3 o'clock Yuma and I got in the air conditioned Jeep for a little adventure. It's only about two miles to the border.

The road ended when the canal turned North. The view looking towards a casino through the vegetation along the canal was beautiful.

Just as I was taking these pictures a border patrol truck with two armed young men pulled up to have a chat. They were very nice and courteous. Just making sure I was on the up and up and then they were on their way.
After that I headed home. It was time to start dinner on my new Weber Q grill. Here's the setup on the patio.

|Two Tri-Tip steaks and half potato.|
The half potato was sliced up with salt and pepper with lots of butter and rolled in aluminum foil.

Soon as this post is done I'll have my dessert and watch a little TV before going to bed.
See you later.
