Location: Saddle Mountain BLM near Tonopah, Arizona
Slept okay last night. Woke up a lot but felt rested in the morning. My head still hurts and I ache all over but no fever I don't think.
Tried to take it easy and I did all morning, but around noon I decided to head into Tonopah and get gas for Miss Adventure and the Jeep. The Jeep was down to no gas. First time I've let that happen. Had to tow it behind the motorhome. Also, got some propane for Miss Adventure.

Peter, one of my commenters gave me instructions to some BLM land close to Buckeye, so I headed East to check it out. His instructions were spot on so I found it easily. Unfortunately, the cell reception was non existent, so that area was nixed. Thanks for the information Peter. The BLM land is approximately 20 miles due East of Saddle Mountain.
Stopped to take a picture of this old Cottonwood tree shaped like a heart. This is for Dolly.

On the way home I stopped at a General Dollar and picked up some Tylenol cold pills. Hope they work.
When I got back near our site, I parked Miss Adventure and the Jeep down by West Salome Road where the ground is harder. Went up an drove the White Lion down and felt more comfortable moving the slide out. Before, the motorhome was listing to that side so I didn't put it out. More room now to relax in.
As evening is coming on, my head is really pounding. I'm going to have a little dinner and hit the sack early. I had forgotten again to put out any meat to thaw, so Deb gave me a chicken breast thawed and ready to cook. What would I do without them.
See you later.
Thank you for thinking of me with the hesrt-shaped tree. Glad you found a more level place to park. Beautiful sunset and moon! Not the clouds we have here. I sure hope the medication works and you're feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dolly. I'm hoping I feel better in the morning. Don't want to waste time being sick.
DeleteBeautiful Full Moon shot. Rest up and be better tomorrow
ReplyDeleteThank Jeff. I sure hope so.
DeleteNice sunset and good one on the Moon shot Doug.
ReplyDeleteThanks Al. Beautiful evening here in the desert tonight.
DeleteBeautiful moon ! Sure hope that medicine works fast.! 🎀
ReplyDeleteMe too. I feel better this morning, but still laying in bed. At least the headache is gone and that's good.
DeleteYou are such a sweet man. You have made your Valentine back home smile. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely moon and sunset shots!
Feel better soon!
Thank you Patsy. That was some warped tree. Glad I found it the week before Valentine's day. Would make a pretty picture on a Valentine's day card.
DeleteWasn't it a gorgeous moon? Hope you feel better.
ReplyDeleteIt was. Glad I turned around and saw it. I'm feeling better this morning and will be taking it easy today.
DeleteDoesn't really sound like you took it too easy! Wonderful that Deb had a chicken breast for you! Sounds like such a guy thing haha. Love the heart tree and that you thought to take a picture for Dolly..too sweet! Hope you're feeling better today!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I do feel better this morning. Going to have to start putting a note on the fridge to remind me to take something out of the freezer. :))
ReplyDeleteNice photo for Dolly. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will be feeling better soon. Eating and resting will help speed you along on the road to recovery. Looks funny seeing the W.L. and Miss A moved way off further away. Heal up quickly as we need to be out and about for a while doing a couple of things.
Oh No! Putting me to work already. I'm feeling so much better this morning. I know I need to take it easy because I do feel weak but it is nice to not have the cough and pounding headache.
DeleteToo bad about the cell coverage for you on Aqua Caliente. You sure are a lucky man to have Deb around to come to your rescue. I know the feeling about not taking out things in the morning for supper.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay Peter. I needed the little excursion to get out of the house. I've never had to worry about food preparation before. I am slow picking up the little routines that go along with cooking for yourself.
DeleteDoug, we are in the Santa Fe RV Park in Apache Junction but it is completely full. Paula is also here.
ReplyDeleteIf you do get any where close, please let us know so we can get together.
Thanks Sandie. I will be sure to stop by if I decide to hunt for a place but odds I won't.
