Woke up with the Sun this morning and there were blue skies and puffy clouds to the West. Maybe the 70% chance of rain will miss us. :))
Took Yuma for a walk while the coffee was percolating. As I was making breakfast, I noticed the fridge wasn't working. It had been just a minute before when I was in it.
Went ahead and had breakfast and then started trying to figure out why the batteries were not producing electricity. I looked at all the breaker switches, turning them off and on, but they were all okay. Went outside and made sure everything was plugged in and tried the reset button and it seemed to be okay.
I called Tom in Yuma and he was on a job and the person answering the phone said it would be tomorrow before he could call back. :(( Fortunately, around noon, Tom called and we started diagnosing the problem over the phone. Took us over an hour but we finally narrowed the problem down to one breaker switch that he added the back bedroom appliances to.
It was a double 20 amp switch and we narrowed that down to the kitchen and living room plug-ins. The switch for the back bedroom he added worked fine and everything else including the fridge. So now the problem is very small. Everything had worked up till this morning, so Tom couldn't understand why it would fail now.
He said I could come back and he would go through and figure it out, but I said having everything but a couple of plugs not working wasn't worth the three hour drive back and that I would work on it when I got home. I'm sure it's something simple. I'm just happy we figured out how to get the fridge and all other appliances working again.
While doing all this, the skies kept getting darker and soon it was pouring rain and lots of wind to go with it. Not a good day to be outside.
Late in the afternoon, the Sun poked its head out for a short time and I looked out the window and was rewarded with this:
Then as it got dark the rains came again with a vengeance.
Cooked dinner inside tonight and tried my TV to see if I could watch Survivor, but no luck. Not one channel would come in. Not even a Mexican channel. :(( I guess Yuma and I will hit the hay early tonight and I can read all about the coronavirus and the current plans to slow it down on the internet on my new phone. :)) Hopefully, tomorrow will be sunny and bright.
See you later.
