Location: The RV Park at the Pima County Fairgrounds, Tucson, Arizona
Today is move day and I am going to an RV Park to work on a few items on the White Lion. This morning I got up around 8 o'clock and it is another beautiful day. Going to have a little more wind today though.
Yuma and I took our walk and I had to take a few last shots of my surroundings. To my eye this area is just beautiful and I would stay forever. But, I say that about a lot of areas here in the southwest. :))
The Whetstone Mountains.
The Mustang Mountains.
White Lion with the Whetsone Mountains.
I'm certainly going to miss those sunsets over the grasslands of southern Arizona. :((
At noon, we were packed and moving on.
One last goodbye.
It was only about an hour drive up highway 82 and then I turned left on E. Sahuarita Road and then right on S. Houghton Road and then turned into the Pima County Fairgrounds.
The RV park is in just a big parking lot, but it is open, has full hook-ups and the price is $150 a week. The rules are they must have an open site on all sides of each RV which is nice and the bathrooms are not open which is fine by me.
This week, I've got to look into why my black and grey tanks are not emptying. May be something simple or it may be a larger issue. I was going to try and fix it myself, but have decided against it. I would probably spill everything on the park grounds and then I would be in a pickle.
The manager gave me the name of someone to call and I will do that tomorrow. I may try running a water line up the septic pipe just to see if it quickly opens the line. If anyone has a better suggestion let me know.
I turned off my inverter and plugged into 50 amp power and all is running great. If it gets too hot I can run my air conditioners. The water is running great too. Just can't dump my tanks. :((
Right across from the dog park so Yuma won't have to go far for his duties. He's already been watching other dogs and whines to go out. Hope that stops soon. Not the beautiful place I was staying this morning but it will do.
Yuma and I made a quick four mile run up to a Walmart to check it out and get some chocolate and vanilla pudding because I had the last tub last night and can't go without my dessert tonight. :))
That's it for today. See you later.
