Set my alarm for 8:15 this morning to make sure we got to the East 32nd Street Walmart by 10 o'clock. Only about a 40 minute drive so we had time to take Yuma for a walk and finish packing with plans to eat breakfast when we got there. The RV repairman had one other job and planned to meet us around noon.
It was just after 10 when we arrived. It is going to be a high 60s day with no wind and lots of sun. We had our breakfast and then rested a little. Just at noon, Mark the repairman showed up and while I showed him what was what, Nick went into the Walmart to shop.
It wasn't long into our review of the problem that I could tell he didn't want to jump into it. He thought it was going to be a simple switch out of inverters and he would make a quick buck and be on his way to his next gig. He did give me some thoughts of what could be causing my problem so after he took my $50 off he went.
I spent a couple hours working on what I think might correct my problem, I got tired and we decided to head home and work on it tomorrow. If that doesn't work, I will reluctantly call RV Connection and have them work on it since they sold me the inverter/converter.
It was getting near six o'clock when we headed out and stopped for gas for the Jeep and diesel for the MH before leaving Arizona for our home in the California desert.
Unfortunately, it got dark before we arrived to the road to take us back to our previous location. Nick was leading the way in the dark and found out how easy it is to get disoriented in the desert after dark. We finally stopped and found a flat spot till morning when we can see where we're going.
Saw a flashlight and up comes Tom. We had missed our turn and weren't far from home. We decided we'll just stay put. Had a quick sandwich dinner and it's now 9 o'clock and time for dessert and bed. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day 😐
Thanks for stopping by.
