Football Play-offs

Ogilby Road West of Yuma, Arizona

Woke up early this morning and got up at 8 o'clock.  Looks to be another beautiful day.  Checked my glucose level first thing this morning and it was 103.  That is great for me.

I was hungry, so had bacon and eggs for breakfast to celebrate my good blood.  Yuma enjoys lying in the sun from the open doorway as I prepare breakfast for us.

It warmed up from 42 degrees quickly, and it wasn't long before we prepared for the NFL play-off games this afternoon by enjoying the sun.
Note to self:  Make sure my socks are not pulled up.
Looking to the West through my camera zoom, I can see the Imperial Sand Dunes I visited several times this past week.
Whoa!  I'd better watch it or I will be red as a lobster.

For dinner I made an excellent dinner of Rib Steak, corn and broccoli.  Finished it with a nice salad and some chocolate pudding with whipped cream.  I am so glad Dolly taught me to cook so I don't have eat TV dinners.  Haven't had one TV dinner this whole time.

As the sun sets,  I have watched my first team, the Minnesota Vikings get beaten by the favored San Francisco 49rs.  I didn't care too much about that game but I'm watching my Family Football Pool pick, the number one Baltimore Ravens get humiliated by the number six team, Tennessee Titans!
Sunset at my remote mountainous home.
The Ravens Lost!  I should have just gone hiking in the mountains today.  Both my teams were losers and I'm out of our Family Football Pool!  :((

I'm going to bed and sulk.  See you later.

  2. What about those Titans??!! 😁 I'm sorry you're out of the pool. I feel your pain. Nick promised me the 49ers would get revenge for me and they came through. You'd better be careful and not get burned! I'm sure you're using your SPF-40 sunblock.😁 Yuma didn't seem to mind staying around camp.

    1. That was a bummer. Have I ever used sunblock? Yuma did manage to sneak off and visit a Husky today. Luckily, it was a friendly female.

    1. I was shocked. They just couldn't play. Over confidence can kill you.

  6. When pigs fly has a whole new meaning when football season comes around. Sorry for the losses but at least you had the opportunity to watch so it wasn't all bad. Too cool here to sit out with socks pushed down. Haha
