All day at the park

Up early this morning at 8 o'clock and fixed a big breakfast of four slices of bacon and three scrambled eggs.  While eating breakfast I received a message from Elva saying they would be moving in tomorrow.  Be great to see her and Jerry for a few days.  And the weather is supposed to warm up starting tomorrow.  Today will still be cool at a high of mid sixties and some cool winds.

Took my glucose before dinner last night and measured 125.  Not too bad.  But this morning after fasting all night it was 135 before breakfast.  Think I'm going to cut out my pudding with whip cream tonight and see what difference that makes.  I know I'm kinda piggy on the whip cream😃

Stayed around the house all day in case Rawn Stone made it by for a visit but unfortunately he didn't make it.  Yuma and I did enjoy just resting and taking small walks around the park.  The gun range was busy and with the winds blowing from that direction, Yuma was frightened most of the day.  Could hear a lot of AR15 semi-automatic fire as people prepare.

Took some pictures of our walk around the fairgrounds and RV Park.

Dolly saw three little rabbits in with the birds today feasting on the nuts and bird seed all over the ground.  Sure Yuma will solve that problem when he gets home 😄
Our youngest grandson, Keaton lost his first baby tooth today😱  He's a proud boy!
Pulled a couple of pork chops out of the freezer and will have one tonight.  Love them.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. The rv park you're staying at looks very nice. Lots of interesting things about. That one mural almost looks like you and Yuma. Keaton is very excited about losing his first tooth. Hope the Tooth Fairy is impressed, too!

    1. It is nice except for the shooting everywhere. May have to move. That Keats looks happy to have it gone.😄

  2. I'm intrigued by that converted bus with the blue top and shiny sides. Too bad the metal wasn't a heavier gauge so it wouldn't be so wavy, after all that effort. I assume it is stainless steel and not polished aluminum. It must be cool inside with 3 a/c units on top. Phil

    1. Didn't notice all those ac units. Guess they live down here all year long and need them.

  3. Sorry Doug, I threw my back out, and couldn't make it. I had some muscle relaxers so I should be fine tomorrow. I tried calling your cell phone, and I left you a message. Hope you will be around tomorrow!

  4. That's an interesting park/campground. That bus is waaayyyy too shiny for me but you do look like you are in one of those funny mirrored houses at a Carnaval.
Nice to have Elva and Jerry arrive soon for a visit. ;)

  5. I'm rather surprised at the number of rigs. If I was those guys shooting, I think I would be saving my ammo. I feel for Yuma. Hopefully they will be gone after Sunday. See you soon!

  6. The Fairgrounds are empty compared to what I remember them being when we attended the Escapade in 2017. Have the race cars been using the track next door yet. that gets noisy at night.
There are a lot of MCI RVs that came out of the factory like that.
Be Safe and Enjoy visiting in the warmer weather.

    It's about time.

  7. I agree that bus is impressive, would like to see the inside - but for sure not to drive it!
Interesting effect on your selfie - is that thru the bug screen on a windy day?
    Keaton is growing up!
