Cool rainy day

During the night I heard the pitter patter of rain on the rooftop.  Been awhile since the White Lion has been rained on.  Calling for rain off and on till around noon today with a high of 57.  They had rain and 61 back home.  Something isn't right about this picture! 😩

Today is a definite stay home day for us, so not much to talk about.  The rain quit around noon, but the large clouds made for a cool day with the sun moving in and out of the clouds.

It was 2 o'clock before we finished breakfast today.  We took a break while Nick went to Safeway for a few things and I took a little time trying to figure out how to get hot water without success.  Decided to worry about it later.  Always have hot water in a pot. 😁

Around 5 o'clock I setup the Dish for Gold Rush and Gold Rush: Whitewater tonight.  I forgot to thaw anything for dinner again, so we had sandwiches and chips for dinner.  Nick is hooked on my pudding and whip cream so buying twice as much now. 😭  All ready pulled burgers out for tomorrow night, so I'm on top of it.  Lots of stuff to remember in this RV lifestyle! πŸ˜›

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Sounds like you two had an easy day, thanks to the rain. I'm glad it wasn't a gully washer. Hopefully tomorrow will be a nicer day there. It looks like you have your own personal shopper. πŸ˜…

    1. Hope it's warmer tomorrow. It will be sunny and that's always good. Nick likes going to the store and that's fine with me

  5. We have enjoyed the pudding cups and whip cream for years. But now Jerry's is sugar free jello and sugar free whip cream when I can find it. My new favorite is the lemon meringue cups....yummy! Elva

  6. Hello Doug, back home from a 5 week trip on a cruise ship to the Caribbean islands (Bremerhaven - Caribbean - Bremerhaven) I was very pleased to be able to read your daily blog again. Thank you for sharing your experiences and the new large photos.
I wish you and Nick an unforgettable winter in the southwest.
Greetings from Berlin, Germany (-1°C and some snow).

    1. We enjoyed the warm weather :-). On the island of Aruba we saw cacti in a national park that reminded us of our beloved Arizona.
