Getting Prepared to move West

Didn't sleep all that well last night.  Getting a little excited and concerned about my upcoming move toward the west!  First thing you'll notice I screwed up the coloring on my Blog and I'm not sure what to do to fix it.  It will have to wait till I have some time to mess with it.

First thing at daylight, I started the White Lion and headed to Roberts Tire about 12 miles from here.  I was early enough to drive right into a bay when I arrived at 7 o'clock.

Once the crew got into work mode, they put four new Hancook tires on the rear of the WL for $2100.  The front ones were replaced not too many years ago and are still new.  The WL better appreciate all I've done and keep moving through the winter.  It was 8:30 and I was heading back to Kay's house.

Over the next few hours I relaxed and also filled the water tank .  Yuma and I took a little walk around the block and we found this pretty grassy spot.  Yuma enjoyed sniffing around.

It was around 4:30 when Kay and I ran over to Costco to pick up food supplies.  They sell in bulk, so the smaller things I needed, I later ran to Walmart to get.  I'm fixed for food over the next two weeks, I hope.

It's already almost 10 o'clock and when I finish this blog, I'm going to bed.  Yuma is already sleeping.  He couldn't wait.  Tomorrow is another early start day.

I have enjoyed my three week visit with Kay.  She is a kind host and I hate to leave, but I must.  I promised to return on my trip home, so we will meet again.

Thanks for stopping by.

    1. I was shocked at the price. Didn't expext $500 a tire. But it's done now. I was glad to be first and didn't have to wait long. Kay is a sweetheart.

  3. Have a safe trip. I must admit the black background took me by surprise but I kind of like it.
