Slept in late this morning. Almost 9 o'clock before we got out of bed and took our first walk. It is another very nice morning. Calling for breezes today, but it won't be a bother with me being down in a valley.
After a full breakfast and a little TV. I watched "Crikey! The Irwin Family" and it was very interesting. Never had watched it before. I like animal shows.
Took a few pictures on our morning walk of the area.
So many different cacti in these two pictures. They must love it here!
I took pictures of my two favorite wall murals. Ajo has hundreds and if you do a search on my blog for Ajo, you will see almost all of them. I will take more in the days ahead.

This afternoon Yuma and I took a walk towards a large boulder hill just south of us. It is so beautiful I had to be outside before working on my post and fixing dinner.

Thanks for stopping by.
You're right in the middle of the saguaro! Lots of beautiful cacti around there. Glad you made it to town for peanut butter. That would have been a disaster in the morning.ReplyDelete
Thanks Dolly. It would have been bad with no peanut butter. Is pretty here.Delete
WOWSER!, What a perfect day to advertise Ajo as a winter destination. It's tough being you :)ReplyDelete
Keep an eye on the weather, winds in our local forecast ... I have a kite and know how to use it :)
Thanks Jeff. Hope the winds miss us. So far just nice breezes.Delete
We have ATT. Last year we could get voice on Darby Well road but we couldn't get a data signal anywhere in town. Do you have Verizon or ATT.ReplyDelete
I started with AT&T years ago and switched to Verizon. Much better service wherever I go.Delete
Ajo is a true oasis in the desert with its palm trees and green grass. One of the reasons we chose spots at the north end of Darby Well Road is the better internet connection. From some spots we could easily see the Verizon tower in Ajo. We liked that shorter scenic drive into Ajo from that end as well.ReplyDelete
I always stayed at the east end for the same reason. Crowded everywhere this year. Had to take what I could get. Still love it here even with a slight inconvenience.Delete
What a great day you have had. Thank you for the Ajo pictures, they are beautiful.ReplyDelete
Thanks Patsy. You need to check this area out sometime. Great place to visit.Delete
Send some of that warm, would ya?? Mornings have been in the 40's with wind here. Afternoons finally getting up to the 60's. Certainly is beautiful country!!ReplyDelete
You know where to find it Nancy. Beeline straight west on 86. Hope it warms up for you.Delete
Glad you are hanging in there and are Safely Enjoying the freedom.ReplyDelete
It's about time.
Thanks Rick.. The weather has been fantastic. Love it here.Delete
It really is beautiful where you are! Love all the murals, very creative! Glad you were able to find your peanut butter :)ReplyDelete
Thanks Shirley. Almost had an emergency but luckily there is Peanut butter in Ajo 😀 Beautiful little town but having hard times.ReplyDelete
