It rained some more last night, but I could tell it was going to turn into a nice day later in the morning. It was cloudy over the Kofa Mountains but partly cloudy overhead and it was nice and warm out.
Had a nice breakfast and relaxed in the sunshine for the morning. With the weather shaping up nicely, I decided today would be the day to travel to Skull Rock deep in the Queen Valley. At 12:45, we got in the Jeep and traveled towards Palm Canyon till we hit the turn-off to Queen Canyon.
We made it to our destination. This is about 3 miles into the canyon. We drove about a mile further back but the canyon was starting to flatten out and we were getting close to the east side of the mountains. However, it is probably another 20 miles of rough wash before I would hit any civilization and that is not my plans.
