This morning at 6:45 the sun was rising to another perfect day with no wind. After yesterday's move I felt tired. It wasn't a long trip but I still have to go through all the same packing routines.
Decided I would stay around home and relax today. Had a big breakfast and checked in on Dolly's adventures.
She still hasn't gotten the power line to the house repaired. But our very nice neighbors brought over hot coffee and an extension cord long enough to go from their house to ours. Great to have such thoughtful friends. Now Dolly can have some heat.

The power line fell across our road, so the county came out and put a sign up closing the road till the power company can fix our line.
Tom came over this morning and offered a sewer pipe cleaning rod to try to unclog my sewer line. After some thought last night I decided to take the advice of one of my commenters, MCA and call a pro. Just thinking of 100 gallons of raw sewage blowing out of a small pipe could be devastating if I managed to unplug it. 😞 So, the solution to my tank problem will be a phone call to Yuma Monday morning 😀
Visited with Tom, Deb, Shane and Cathy several times this afternoon and that's the extent of my activities today.

As the sun set,
we called it a night and Yuma and I came home to fix dinner. We had steak and I had potatoes and green beans. Finished up with dessert and a little 📺 while I finished my blog. Tomorrow, I will drive into the Cargo Muchacho Mountains and explore a few mines.

I hope you can get your tanks straightened out without too much trouble. That's a messy job. Better to leave it to an expert. Everyone looks very warm and comfy sitting around and chatting.😃 Yuma really knows how to get the pets he deserves! Have a fun trip tomorrow.

DeleteDoug, you'll need to take the RV into a place an RV lot that has connections for sewer and water so John can get in the tank and power wash it. He won't need to go inside, we do all the tank cleaning from the outside. But, we do need your coach to be at a water and sewer connection because we need the sewer to go into the proper place!! I always tell my clients to put water into the tank until it is 3/4 full and then drive the rig to the RV space they are going to get for the day, the driving and turns will help break lose the mountain that likely clogging the tank drainage. If you were closer to me, I would just have you come to my place as I have a service bay here for the boon dockers. John may know of place close to you which will let you pull in to get it cleaned out. For sure don't try to clean or break it up out there in desert because you're right, it could become a disaster. I sure hope Dolly gets some power back soon. Those ice storms are nasty.

DeleteI remember an ice storm like that back in the 70's here in Ontario. It damaged a lot of beautiful trees and our vehicles had a sheet of thick ice on them for a couple of days. Hope Dolly soon gets power. what a stark difference in her pictures and yours! Have fun today in the mines!
