Taco Tuesday

I was surprised this morning at 6:45 and it was still dark outside.  Took me a minute to realize it was 5:45 California time.  Still had an hour before sunrise.

Went back to sleep till the sun was up and slowly started getting ready to move back to Ogilby Road in California.  Right back to the spot we came from.  Today Deb has proclaimed Taco Tuesday, so I can't miss that.

Before leaving Yuma,  I stopped one more time at Walmart to get the things I forgot last evening and then filled the motorhome .  Now I can venture into California without buying their expensive diesel.

Got back to my same site across from Tom and Deb and Shane and Cathy at 2 o'clock.  Yuma was so happy to be back.  He raced right over to Tom's place looking for a cracker.  He didn't like staying at the RV park and having to be on a leash 😞

Got a text from Dolly saying they had ice fog and the power had gone out again.  This time the whole neighborhood.   Poor Dolly!

At 4:30 we got together for happy hour before Taco dinner.  We decided as the sun set we would eat inside.

I must say everything was delicious 😋  I ate so much I'm hurting as I sit here typing this post.

I checked in with Dolly and she's still sitting in the dark cold house with Fergie.  It's only 7 o'clock but I'm ready for bed.  Been a long day..

See you later.

  2. Sounds yummy to me. It's hard to eat less when it tastes so good!!! That time thing is annoying. I stay on Arizona time no matter where I am.

  3. We have some great local favorite Taco Tuesday places ... but they are all limited service with the SoCal lockdowns. Either California must have better gas or higher taxes.

  4. Sure glad you got that tank problem fixed and back into the peace of the desert. Another friend and his dog are camped out there also. I'll bet Dolly wishes she had come with you at this point. But it's a good thing there's somebody home with all this power outages.

    1. Thanks Gaelyn. I feel much better now the tanks are in order. Should have done it months ago. Dolly has had it rough but glad she's holding down the fort. I think it's finally over.
